Moschino
Founded in 1984 by Franco Moschino, Moschino is an Italian luxury fashion house renowned for its bold and playful designs. The brand quickly gained popularity for its innovative and satirical approach to fashion. Moschino’s designs are often described as fun and whimsical, featuring unexpected details and daring graphics that challenge traditional notions of high fashion.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Moschino continued to push fashion boundaries by incorporating pop culture references and even political satire into its clothing and accessories. After Franco Moschino’s passing in 1994, the brand continued to evolve under the creative direction of Rossella Jardini, who preserved Moschino’s playful DNA while introducing elements of streetwear and hip-hop culture into the collections.
In 2013, Jeremy Scott was appointed as Moschino’s new Creative Director, bringing a highly distinctive and unique style to the brand. He infused Moschino with a more humorous and adventurous spirit, drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources—from fast food imagery to cartoon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants.
