Prada
Prada is an Italian fashion house founded in 1913 by Mario Prada. Initially, Prada was a leather goods manufacturer, selling bags, trunks, and accessories to wealthy and elite customers in Milan, Italy. While Mario Prada focused on leather craftsmanship, the brand later expanded into womenswear with the launch of its first collection in 1989.
In 1985, Prada introduced a collection of black bags made from a new technological material—lightweight and durable nylon. This collection became highly popular and propelled the brand to greater success. Under the leadership of Miuccia Prada, the brand continued to develop innovative designs and technologies that set it apart from others in the fashion industry.
In the early 1990s, Prada continued to expand globally, opening boutiques in various countries and becoming one of the most renowned fashion houses in the world. Despite facing some challenges in the 2000s, Prada has remained a successful and globally recognized brand. Today, Prada offers a wide range of products, including clothing, bags, shoes, and other accessories. Its designs are known for their simplicity and elegant style.
