TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer is a Swiss luxury watch brand renowned for its rich heritage and strong reputation in precision timekeeping and sport-inspired design. Throughout its history, TAG Heuer has been closely associated with chronographs and timing instruments. For example, in 1911, the brand introduced the “Time of Trip,” an onboard chronograph mounted on the dashboards of cars and aircraft, used to measure journey duration.
The world of motorsport has always been closely linked to TAG Heuer. The company partnered with the Ferrari team in the 1970s as both a sponsor and official timekeeper, and today it sponsors the Formula 1 team Oracle Red Bull Racing. TAG Heuer’s Monaco watch is often seen on drivers such as Max Verstappen.
TAG Heuer has also been at the forefront of quartz timekeeping innovation. In 1973, the brand introduced the Microsplit 820, the world’s first quartz-powered pocket sports timer, capable of measuring time with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second.
