Tod's
Tod’s is an Italian brand founded in 1920 by Dorino Della Valle in Casette d’Ete, a small town in the Marche region of Italy. Initially, the brand focused on handcrafted shoes for the local community.
In the 1970s, Dorino’s son, Diego Della Valle, took over the family business and expanded Tod’s offerings beyond footwear to include leather goods such as bags and wallets. He also introduced the gommino technique, which features rubber pebble soles that enhance grip and durability.
Today, Tod’s is known for its classic luxury and timeless designs. Its products are crafted using traditional Italian techniques and high-quality materials such as soft leather and cashmere. The brand also places strong emphasis on sustainability, using eco-friendly materials and reducing waste in its production processes.
